Microsoft RegClean fixes any errors you may have in
your Windows Registry. The Registry is the central database for Windows.
When you install, uninstall, and reinstall programs on your computer,
Registry keys are created, modified, and deleted. Over time, your computer's
Registry may begin to contain corrupted, unused, and unnecessary Registry
keys. As a result, you may begin to experience problems when using OLE
to embed objects or Automation to control other programs. RegClean is
designed to clean up unnecessary Registry entries and this may make your
system load faster. RegClean does not fix a "corrupt" registry -- it only
fixes problems with some of the entries that are in a normal registry.
This new version works properly on systems with Internet Explorer 4.0
installed.

Registry Engineer is a Windows Registry editing tool
designed to speed up your access to frequently modified key values. With
Registry Engineer, you can avoid long, repeated searches through the Windows
Registry. You just locate a key once, insert it in Registry Engineer's
list, and from then on you can easily change the value of that key directly
from Registry Engineer. The program allows you to save a default value
for each of your keys so that you can restore them quickly. You can give
each key a more meaningful "reference" name for use within Registry Engineer.
It also lets you save and load Registry Engineer Reference files (RRF)
that contain groups of Registry keys and their associated reference names.

Test-Run allows you to protect your computer from the
hazards associated with testing new software. Through the use of DOS batch
files, Test-Run creates a copy of your Registry for testing purposes.
You simply click the Switch icon to toggle between the test Registry and
the real one, which reboots your computer to a DOS prompt, uses the test
Registry, and reloads Windows. The test Registry is accompanied by special
test-mode wallpaper, so you can keep track of the right Registry. When
you are done with your testing, you switch back to the real Registry,
and all is as it was before you installed the test program. Test-Run is
easy to use and affords an additional layer of protection for your Registry.
