Exhibitions, Meetings, and Reports


Exhibitions

The most important CBCI exhibition is the Annual Exhibition of Recommended Books.  This exhibition was started in 1962.  Other recent exhibitions in CBCI include:

“Understanding, Tolerance, and Freedom” in collaboration with the IICLRR (Austrian Section of IBBY), “H.C. Andersen Candidates 1998 and 2000,” “My Dream Hospital” with paintings by Iranian and German hospitalized children in collaboration with Cinco 


Meetings and Reports

Meetings with colleagues and experts from inside and outside Iran are welcome in order to broaden CBCI experiences. 

Reports based on actual experiences are greatly encouraged.  Some recent examples include:

“The H.C. Andersen Award 2000” by Jury member Mansooreh Rai, 

“The Effective Use of Literature, Painting, Music, and Games at the Tehran Correctional and Educational Institute”,

“Sick Children and Books in Two Hospitals”,

“Introducing Children’s Literature into a Middle School Program”, and

“Libraries for Out Camp Afghan Refugee young Children” in collaboration with Ockenden International.
